CalPreps* (CP) is a California based website that uses a variety of results-based formulas to rank high school football teams across the USA, and to project weekly results. This week, and perhaps n future weeks,  I will include that website's "predictions" of Section 4 games. The first one twixt these two was closer than the score indicated (at least based upon listening to it on the radio and the halftime score. CF did have a huge edge in rushing yardage.). I am suspecting that the Black Knights might put a real scare into the Blue Devils this time around, that is if the lineplay is more even than last game. If not, Devils by at least two TDs.

The regular season game these two had four weeks ago, a 35-34 thriller, was a rivalry game for the ages by all accounts. I am expecting a game no less competetive. It could go either way, and might be the tightest game amoung the five at Ty Cobb Stadium this weekend.

This one is every bit a neighboring rivaly as Forks vs CV, U-E vs Vestal and others. I imagine it has has dominated talk in those towns all week long.  While U/F has the better record, and somewhat similar results among common-opponents, most of the Media Picks are having Sidney continuing their hot play and to win this game. I'm picking the Spartans to win a close one. One of the two will be winning their first Section 4 title in a while, Unatego last won in 2007, Sidney last won it in 2006.

Hate to say it, but based on the regular season matchup this one could get ugly. Most of the Media Picks for this one have NV by 40+, but some have it a 2 to 3 TD margin, and even one has the huge upset predicted. I can't see it, not with NV's speed and on an expected dry artificial turf field.

These two are the only ones of the ten playing this weekend that I have not listed to any games this season (I've attended none at all). So all I have to go on is game-scores.
I suspect this one should play out about the same as the first game mid-season, Elmira by 2 to 3 TDs. They've certainly been more consistent all season long. That said, it's Binghamton's inconsistency that might just put a scare into the Express...which Patriots squad will show up?
